These bird box protection plates are designed to fit existing bird boxes and feature different diameter entries. The outer diameter is depending on size of product you select, is approx. 55mm, thickness approx. 4mm, this is to ensure a strong and longer lasting product. The plates are made from UV stable recycled plastic so will not rust. We have smoothed the internal entry holds for the birds to slip through unharmed this includes the tapered screw holes to ensure a tapered screw sits flush to the plate.
Don’t be fooled by some of the competition you only have to look at and compare the images to see the obvious superior quality of our product. The top layer provides a wood grain effect produced by the equipment during the fabrication project which I feel is a nice finish for the application.
